Yay, I got it this week! And after not even coming close last week. Talk about saving face.
Good job. 🙂 I would like to make them challenging, but not impossible, so I appreciate the feedback.
I think of myself as having a good mind and an even better imagination, but I was stumped both weeks! How pathetic. This reminds of when I tried out for Who Wants to be a Millionaire…and didn’t make it. My whole sense of self as an intelligent being was shaken to the core, until my then 11 yr old said, in all seriousness, “Mum, it’s probably because you were too smart. They were afraid you would win all the money.”
Okay, this isn’t really the same thing at all, but it did remind me of it…:) And you should try out for “Millionaire” because I bet you would do brilliantly.
You had a sense of self with an 11-year-old in the house? He was right; you are brilliant. 😉
You know who would clean up on game shows? The ToolMaster. He has the memory of an elephant.
NEVER — I NEVER GET VISUAL PUNS! ARGHHHHH!
Okay, calm now. Apparently my brain just doesn’t work that way. We went to a museum a few weeks ago and saw a painting that had two faces in it, but I could only see one, no matter how hard I tried, until I took a picture of the painting with my phone and had someone crop it to show the second.. THEN I could see both in the original.
That’s interesting. I’m thinking now in terms of your writing, and you’re largely kinesthetic, aren’t you? Maybe “visual” just isn’t your strongest sense. Or maybe it’s the weird humor. 😉
I was going to say, “Baby pig penny!”
Oh, ha! Better luck next time.
